Time Flies When You're...

... taking a one-week road trip to Texas with the puggle and the FIL.
... going to a perfect Southern wedding in Birmingham, Alabama.
... getting in a car accident that totaled two cars and has us at the chiropractor for months.
... dancing and singing at an amazing Zac Brown Band concert at Red Rocks.
... finally canceling the time suck of cable television.
... spending 10 days on the East Coast playing tourists before a mini college reunion at a wedding in Freedom, New Hampshire.
... celebrating the Mister's birthday -- last year of his twenties.
... adding a beautiful fire pit to the backyard.
... entertaining the Zelinsky family for a week in Colorado.
... helping Puggie recover from a nail-removal situation that had him laid up for days.
... celebrating the birth of several babies born to good friends.

Yeah, it's been an eventful few months.  After discovering a new blog this afternoon, I suddenly felt guilty for leaving this one hanging.  C'mon, Natalie, this is no way to become a famous blogger!

In the spirit of being behind on all things, I finally added 2012 to our family LifeBook (you may remember last year's post).  Here she is!

Photos above include visiting ATX with my brother, la playa con mi madre, "The Year of Travis' Hair", WI for a wedding with friends and our first anniversary at The Book of Mormon.

Photos above include Paris, Versailles, 14er hiking, Lake Dillon with the whole fam, and, of course, our holiday card.

I guess it's a bad idea to re-start the blogging in the midst of summer but I aim to be ambitious.  If you're lucky, I'll add some pictures from the last few months but also plan to post many pictures from the next few months.

Hope you're all having a great summer!!

Our LifeBook

With two weeks to go before our next big trip, I'm anxiously trying to finish several little projects that I started during the past several weeks.  One of those projects is our LifeBook.  I got the idea from one of my favorite blogs, Young House Love.  The young couple who writes the blog creates a professional photo book to chronicle each year.  Think: Yearbook.  I thought this was a great idea except that once we pass three or four years, we'll never look at all of these books again.  Hence: Lifebook.

I bought a scrapbook at Michael's and my goal is to create one full spread (two pages) for each year of our lives starting with the year we got married, 2011.  I finally finished picking last year's photos that best reflect our year and the LifeBook is underway...

This is actually one of our honeymoon photos but I might change it because I think it looks like a stock photo :)

Please excuse the poor photo quality.

Our first home, climbing 14ers, the wedding, honeymooning in Costa Rica, and Mr. Pugsley.  Pretty good representation of 2011 for the Sperr's.

One project down, 2,324,457,324 more to go...
