Maybe some day I'll tell you that we've actually hired one.

Craft Projects of the Week

I wish I could use this title every week... unfortunately I have a full-time job.  By unfortunately, I mean that I am incredibly thankful that I enjoy my job and get paid for it... I just like craft projects too.

Setting: Surprise Bachelorette Party
Time: Girls had to meet at 6:30pm for Canvas and Cocktails (so fun!!) and dinner isn't scheduled until 9pm so I knew they'd be hungry.

Result: Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for all!

Canvas and Cocktails was a blast.  We all came home with our own unique Eiffel Tower.

And last but not least... my new centerpiece!!  Jess and I had fun at Hobby Lobby and Big Lots this weekend!

We Moved!

We moved! It's true and its exciting and fun and messy. Almost all the boxes are unpacked, nothing is hung on the walls and ... ready for my excuse? ... we have no internet or cable. Good news is that our Friday date night is planned. After the installer comes, fiance and I will be sitting on the couch with our matching laptops catching up on propaganda (him) and blogs (me). Aren't we romantic?! I'm keeping this post short because I'm typing on my new, super cool phone but its a bit difficult.

Updates to look forward to:
* we found our caterer!
* photographers are hard to decide on
* are bridal parties necessary?
* dress shopping!
* parental visit
* zac brown band at red rocks!
* and the most hilarious transcript of a conversation you've ever read!

Appointments, Meetings and Colors, Oh My!

Sorry for being such a blog slacker lately.  You must have the worst opinion of me right now!  The truth is that I just couldn't stop staring at the picture below.  Ahhh, such loveliness. 

This is what I've been doing while NOT blogging:
* Scheduled THREE appointments to try on dresses while MOB is in town next month!
* Scheduled two meetings with two AMAZING photographers!
* Scheduled two tastings... because that's what the groom wants to do!
* Scheduled one meeting with one hilarious Rabbi (one other meeting with another Rabbi option in the works)!
* I might have changed my colors... but that's still TBD.
* Mostly, I'm having a lot of fun!

Invitations are being analyzed, colors are being played with, food is being examined, dress are being dreamt of and the bridal party, well, that's another story.  Is a bridal party necessary?  I'll save this for a follow up blog post...

Wedding stuff aside, I'm moving next week.  And I haven't packed a thing.  I'd much rather spend my time looking at pretty wedding pictures!!
